About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage AML Investigations and Analysis programme, leading a team of on-shore Investigators and (indirectly) a team of Analysts in CoEs
- Act as Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) / MLRO delegate to decide on cases warranting STR filing
- Oversee and manage the operations of the Regulatory Response Unit
- Maintain awareness of internal and external AML & CTF requirements and the legal environment
- Provide AML advice and guidance to Compliance, Business, Technology, and Operations functions
- Support development of risk management frameworks for emerging businesses like FinTechs and Digital Assets
- Manage regulatory reviews, internal audits, and assurance reviews
- Promptly respond to regulatory and law enforcement queries
Requirements
- Proven experience in AML investigations and analysis
- Deep knowledge of AML & CTF statutory environments
- Experience managing regulatory response and risk management
- Ability to lead and manage large-scale investigation teams
- Experience with advanced analytics and technology projects in compliance
