About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the second line oversight program for capital markets risk, including the annual oversight plan
- Direct independent evaluation of funds management and liquidity risk management processes
- Provide credible challenge to deposit assumptions, interest rate risk models and scenarios
- Assess investment portfolio, counterparty, FX and hedging risk; escalate exposures outside appetite
- Serve as second line voice on committees and represent the second line with regulators and auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
- 8+ years in capital planning, liquidity risk, interest rate risk and investment portfolio management
- Experience communicating risk to regulators, audit firms and boards of directors
- Strong analytical and executive-level written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CFA
- Prior experience with prepaid deposits
- Knowledge of a GRC platform such as Archer
