VP, Credit - Structured Finance

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed credit assessment and prepare credit appraisal memos for corporate and structured financing
• Manage the overall health of the allocated portfolio and guide a team of credit analysts
• Handle credit evaluation and approval processes for corporate lending and structured debt across various sectors
• Analyze complex transaction structures, asset quality, and counterparty risk
• Review term sheets and identify credit and structural risks in collaboration with legal counsel
• Set credit terms, conditions, limits, and covenants
• Monitor ongoing credit exposure and undertake ad-hoc event-based risk analysis
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Manage portfolio reviews, monitoring delinquencies, and early warnings
• Participate in digitalization and automation projects within Group Credit

Requirements

• 15 years of experience in banking
• 5-7 years of experience in structured debt and structured financing structures
• Strong understanding of structured debt financing, multi-sector experience, and asset valuations
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
• Ability to review financial models, RAROC, and returns sheets critically
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements including Basel norms, IFRS 9, ECL, and Impairments Calculations
• Excellent communication and writing skills for credit proposals
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, or Commerce
