VP, Data Management Non-Credit Risk

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Data Validation & Assessment activities, including validation planning, evidence review, and reconciliation assessment
• Oversee independent validation of Critical Data Elements (CDE) identification, scoring, and governance evidence
• Manage validation of regulatory and management reports against agreed sources and systems of record
• Apply DVA validation methodology and ensure validation files are auditable and repeatable
• Identify and escalate material discrepancies, control weaknesses, and recurring data issues
• Prepare governance MI on validation coverage, findings, and remediation status
• Guide AVP and team members in completing validation activities and working papers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk, Data or Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Economics or a related discipline
• 10+ years of banking experience across operations, data domains, reporting, risk, finance, or audit
• Strong experience in data validation, CDE governance, risk data aggregation, and BCBS 239
• Deep understanding of banking data flows, metadata, data lineage, and reporting production processes
• Ability to challenge reconciliation outputs and document findings for escalation

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or relevant professional qualification in banking, risk, audit, finance or data management
