About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients
- Execute client orders for equity and equity-related products including ordinary shares, ETFs, and complex ETFs
- Provide market insights and trading ideas to internal and external clients
- Utilize order management systems for trade input and documentation
- Collaborate with Middle Office to ensure smooth trade processing
- Adhere to high standards of business conduct and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Equity Sales Trader in an institutional setting
- In-depth understanding of cash equities, equity derivatives, and SPACs
- Strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks like SFC and HKMA
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Familiarity with trading platforms such as Bloomberg and Fidessa
- Appropriate licenses and certifications for trading equities in Hong Kong
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or Business
