About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close, reconciliations, adjustments and audit trail
- Ensure IFRS compliance at group level, including country-specific IFRS 9 requirements
- Perform variance analysis and commentary for monthly reporting packs
- Prepare financial statement disclosures for cash flows, derivatives, borrowings and impairment
- Respond to statutory and internal auditor queries
- Support model development, validation and new accounting standard implementation
- Support overseas branches and subsidiaries on accounting and IFRS requirements
Requirements
- ACA or CFA preferred, or 5-8 years in a financial reporting function
- Experience in IFRS accounting, reporting and audit
- Experience working with a Big 4 audit firm
- Experience building financial MI reporting and automating processes
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder skills
