About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to business units on best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective risk reporting, escalation, and governance
- Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and develop mitigation strategies
- Oversee implementation of risk management tools and systems
- Contribute to operational resilience capabilities
- Participate in the design and delivery of risk management training programs
Requirements
- Degree holder in Risk, Legal, IT, Accounting, Finance or business-related discipline
- Minimum 10 years (VP) or 6 years (AVP) experience in operational risk management or internal control
- Proven track record in implementing effective risk frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in risk management tools and data analytics
- Understanding of AI/ML techniques and generative AI tools
- Experience in QlikSense, PowerBI, or Tableau is advantageous
- Expertise in managing operational risk in financial services or banking
- Professional certifications (e.g., ECF-ORM, PRMIA, or GARP) preferred
