About the role
Responsibilities
- Own annual budget, scenario modeling, and rolling forecasts for revenue, headcount, opex, and cash
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting with plan-to-actuals
- Serve as trusted financial advisor to the CEO and executive team
- Prepare board materials and investor reporting
- Own monthly close, GAAP reporting, internal controls, and ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity, banking relationships, and treasury
- Lead and build a lean finance team
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive finance leadership
- Experience at an enterprise B2B SaaS company of 50M–100M ARR
- Fluency in SaaS metrics and their link to financial performance
- Hands-on experience with monthly close, GAAP, and revenue recognition
- Experience managing external auditors and tax advisors
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid subscription-and-usage models
- Understanding of AI and cloud cost structures and gross margin
- Experience supporting a capital raise or debt facility
