About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional welcome
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide detailed menu information and personalized recommendations
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in restaurant setup and closing procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a waiter/ess in a high-volume, luxury hospitality environment
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask
- Solid knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
- Proficiency with basic mathematics for payment processing
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or French is advantageous
- Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Professional appearance and commitment to grooming standards
