Windows Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Own hiring, coaching, growth, and performance for the Windows team
• Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews using the engineering career framework
• Run team rituals including standups, sprint planning, and retros
• Manage team delivery, dependencies, blockers, and risks
• Partner with product, design, QA, and support on planning and execution
• Drive team velocity by removing process friction and technical drag
• Exercise technical judgment regarding resourcing and prioritization in partnership with technical leads
• Stay conversant in C#, .NET desktop applications, and native interop

Requirements

• Experience developing high-quality software on Windows using C#/.NET desktop applications
• Proven engineering management experience including hiring and performance management
• Experience being accountable for a team's delivery and culture
• Ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and non-engineers
• Proficiency using AI development tools to accelerate work
