Responsibilities

• Planning, writing and publishing engaging content for blogs, social media, campaigns and features
• Performing research for articles, guides and other content
• Analyzing content performance metrics to improve future ideas
• Conducting keyword research and applying SEO guidelines
• Pitching articles to third-party websites for publication
• Ensuring consistency in style, fonts, images and tone

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism or related field
• Proven work experience as a writer for charity or non-profit
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to research a wide range of topics
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with attention to detail
• Ability to commit to a weekly Zoom meeting
• Proficient in Microsoft packages

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design packages
