CLI Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the CLI and Local Experience team, including coaching, 1:1s, and performance management
• Drive technical strategy and architecture through RFCs and design reviews
• Contribute directly to implementation using TypeScript, focusing on reliability and maintainability
• Own the team hiring plan and manage the full recruitment loop for engineering roles
• Partner with Product Management to define roadmap priorities and delivery outcomes
• Monitor customer feedback and OSS issues to continuously improve developer experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on command-line developer tools
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience shipping production-grade CLI tooling
• Proven people management experience in a distributed and asynchronous environment
• Deep understanding of cross-platform development (macOS, Linux, and Windows)
• Experience with Docker and Postgres-oriented development workflows
• Strong written communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote setting
