About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform site surveys and review network architecture design to provide implementation recommendations
- Configure turbine controller tags in OSM using Cimplicity/WST and establish data flow to central historian servers
- Execute PLC programming using Allen Bradley RSlogix5, RSlogix500, and RSlogix5000
- Prepare Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Factory Acceptance Procedures (FAT), and Site Acceptance Procedures (SAT)
- Handle AB SCADA points preparation, memory mapping, and graphics preparation based on P&ID
- Manage detailed instrumentation engineering including instrument selection and datasheet preparation
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of experience with Windows-based systems (Windows 2019, Windows 10)
- Proficiency in Virtual Machine setup and configuration
- Experience with SQL Database, Historian, Pi, and OPC databases
- Knowledge of network equipment including servers, routers, firewalls, and switches
- Expertise in Proficy Cimplicity and Historian
- Bachelor of Science/Technology/Engineering in Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- Advanced English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain knowledge of Power Turbine Monitoring Systems and DCS Integration
- Experience in Power Plant Automation
- Proficiency in VB and SQL Server
- Ability to travel and work independently in a matrixed environment
