Director of Project Controls

Responsibilities

• Build the construction controls framework around a standard WBS and cost coding
• Lead change management end to end, from submission through budgets and forecasts
• Create a risk management process tying contingency to tracked project risks
• Set up PO and commitment tracking with Procurement across projects
• Lead budgeting, cost forecasting and monthly executive reporting
• Set scheduling standards and keep critical path and long-lead equipment visible
• Select and implement controls tools connected to finance and project systems
• Build and lead the controls team and manage third-party schedulers and cost managers

Requirements

• 10+ years in project controls on large capital construction projects
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• Track record of building a controls function or system
• Owner-side experience on data center, mission-critical, power or heavy industrial projects
• Strong command of WBS, cost coding, scheduling, change and risk management, forecasting
• Primavera P6 experience
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, finance or related field
