Global Trade Compliance Consultant

Responsibilities

• Handle internal and external customer trade compliance requests and US import documentation
• Provide harmonized tariff classification advisory and file US Customs rulings
• Analyze Section 301 exclusions and other trade remedies (AD/CVD, Sections 201 and 232)
• Evaluate Free Trade Agreement qualification and country of origin analysis
• Manage CBP inquiries, Post Summary Corrections and Prior Disclosures
• Review duty minimization opportunities and administer duty drawback claims
• Develop Supply Chain Safety programs and support C-TPAT compliance
• Conduct training, risk assessments and internal audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field
• 5+ years of international trade and import compliance experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed Customs Broker
• Experience with a US customs broker or as an importer or exporter
