Grid Integration Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute grid integration strategies for EVgo charging infrastructure
• Build and maintain partnerships with electric utilities and regulatory agencies
• Lead utility infrastructure planning, including site feasibility and equipment requirements
• Coordinate with construction teams, utilities, and vendors for project execution
• Negotiate and execute interconnection agreements and coordinate engineering studies
• Manage utility schedules and forecasting to support project milestones
• Lead technical analyses and modeling to evaluate grid integration scenarios
• Ensure project compliance with industry regulations and electrical codes

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and utility operations
• Demonstrated experience with utility interconnection processes and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Google Earth
• Ability to travel up to 20% for site visits and meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the electric vehicle, energy, or utility sectors
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Familiarity with demand response programs or battery energy storage systems
• Experience with Salesforce or Sitetracker
