Responsibilities

• Prepare all export documentation for warehouses and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Track export shipments proactively to identify and prevent problems
• Investigate receiving requirements of inbound countries, including product testing and supporting documentation
• Verify labeling requirements of destination countries
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, and customer issues
• Monitor product import and export processes to ensure regulatory compliance
• Arrange bookings with airlines, ocean carriers, and co-loaders
• Coordinate incoming international shipments including freight forwarder coordination and customs clearance
• Maintain accurate HTS classification listings for imported products

Requirements

• 2+ years of import/export experience
• Working knowledge of HTS classification
• Understanding of EORI, CERS, and U.S. import/export requirements
• Strong knowledge of trucking and logistics methods, terminology, and practices
• Experience with international shipping regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
