About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze mechanical and electromechanical components using finite element analysis (FEA) for static structural and dynamic loads
- Perform solid and shell meshing analysis
- Generate hand calculations to support design decisions
- Lead or participate in design reviews and identify product risks
- Estimate scope and duration of analysis projects
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Software Engineering disciplines
- Compile and present engineering design and analysis documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 4+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of FEA, specifically using Femap with NX Nastran
- Proficiency in CAD packages, preferably SolidWorks
- Experience with drone equipment or analysis of composite structures
- Ability to solve complex problems using engineering principles without supervision
