Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain testnets and test automation for components of the Monad blockchain
• Prototype new deployment patterns across validator and full-node topologies
• Design and run performance benchmarks and load tests to surface bottlenecks
• Drive observability, alerting, and security across the stack
• Define best practices for node operators and provide necessary support
• Develop tooling for both internal and external use
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support

Requirements

• 2+ years of DevOps experience in an RPC provider, professional validator company, or L1 blockchain environment
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management (Terraform, Ansible)
• 2+ years of experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in bare metal server management and scripting
• Proficiency in at least one back-end language such as Python or Go
• Hands-on experience with GitOps-style deployment (FluxCD, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions)
• Experience with AWS and major cloud providers
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
• Proficiency with Git and command-line tools
• Strong understanding of network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
