About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary energy projects across electricity networks, renewable energy, and energy storage
- Develop business plans for Energy growth strategy in the Middle East
- Lead business development activities and technical proposals
- Deliver feasibility studies, engineering assessments, and technical advisory assignments
- Coordinate technical analyses including power-system, grid-integration, and techno-economic studies
- Support the planning, design, and delivery of electricity network and substation projects
- Perform technical due diligence and Owner's Engineer assignments
- Mentor junior professionals through coaching and technical review
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Energy or Power Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in consulting, utilities, project development, or EPC environments
- Demonstrated technical depth in electricity networks, substations, renewable energy, or energy storage
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSS® E, PSCAD, PLEXOS, or Python
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Chartered Engineer status or progress towards professional accreditation is advantageous
