About the role
Responsibilities
- Install and commission new systems including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
- Troubleshoot and rebuild hydraulic and centrifugal pumps
- Lead on-site project staff and external contractors
- Provide training to customers and staff in classroom and practical settings
- Perform preventative maintenance and retrofits on customer sites
- Manage project administration and reporting
- Ensure personal and site staff safety and quality assurance
Requirements
- AS, AAS, or equivalent education/work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a Field Service Technician capacity
- Willingness to travel up to 70% domestically and internationally
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints and PLC ladder logic
- Proficiency in electro-mechanical systems and precision measurement instruments
- Experience installing multimillion dollar capital equipment
- Valid Driver's License and valid passport
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ultra-high pressure or water jet cutting machines
- Previous work experience in a food processing facility
- Demonstrated experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
