About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of mechanical engineering systems across all project stages
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and international standards
- Drive design quality through technical reviews, calculations, and simulations
- Utilize advanced modelling and digital tools like Revit and BIM
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
- Coordinate with architects, structural, and electrical teams
- Conduct site inspections and performance assessments
- Engage directly with clients to present solutions and build relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering
- 8-12 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically within building services in the UAE
- Expertise in HVAC design and energy-efficient systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), IES, and HAP
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and
- Experience in preparing technical reports and feasibility studies
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer status or professional accreditation
- Experience on large-scale developments in the UAE or GCC
- Exposure to sustainability frameworks like LEED or Estidama
- Experience in multidisciplinary consultancy environments
