Senior Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the solar PV portfolio and develop maintenance schedules
• Oversee internal resources, subcontractors, and service partners to ensure safe and timely maintenance
• Provide technical support for complex faults, root cause investigations, and technical reporting
• Supervise field teams during critical maintenance activities and conduct routine technical inspections
• Serve as a primary operational contact for clients and attend operational review meetings
• Prepare monthly operational reports and track plant availability, PR, and maintenance KPIs
• Identify opportunities for maintenance efficiency and enhance standard operating procedures
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all HSE requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in utility-scale or commercial solar PV operations and maintenance
• Experience supervising field personnel or contractors
• Strong understanding of LV, MV, and HV electrical systems
• Experience with SCADA platforms and remote monitoring systems
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance management systems preferred
• Valid UAE driving licence or ability to obtain one
