Senior Project Manager (Design) - Buildings

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process across building and property projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality, timely outputs
• Oversee design reviews, approvals, and compliance with local authority requirements (e.g., ADM, ADWEA)
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and change control processes
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including clients, contractors, and government entities
• Support pre-contract and post-contract phases, including technical evaluations and tender documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design management for buildings and property developments, preferably in the UAE or GCC region
• Proven track record in managing design for high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, or institutional buildings
• Strong understanding of local authority processes and permitting requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent
