About the role
About the Company
Careem is building the Everything App for the greater Middle East — making it easy to move around, order food and groceries, manage payments, and more. We operate in 70+ cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end performance scorecard for merchant partners across UAE & JOR, including order acceptance, prep time, and accuracy
- Translate performance gaps into a strategic roadmap to address GMV leakage and AOV underperformance
- Manage picking operations within partner stores, focusing on productivity, pick-to-pack time, and accuracy
- Build and defend Last-Mile Unit Economics for merchant cohorts
- Conduct quarterly and monthly business reviews with top merchant accounts
- Lead peak-season readiness planning for events like Ramadan and Dubai Shopping Festival
- Manage a team of Operations Specialists/Leads across UAE and Jordan
Requirements
- 4-7 years in operations, quick-commerce, last-mile logistics, or retail/e-commerce marketplace roles
- At least 2 years of experience managing teams and external partners
- Experience managing frontline or in-store operations such as picking, warehousing, or fulfillment
- Strong data fluency with Excel, SQL, and BI tools
- Willingness to travel regularly between the UAE and Jordan
- Arabic and English fluency preferred
