Senior Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural systems for buildings projects, ensuring compliance with local authority design requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions
• Review engineering designs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed throughout project execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering focusing on building structures
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro
• Experience with reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, and water-retaining structures
• Ability to coordinate with MEP, Architecture, and Utilities within multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong project management skills to lead teams and manage budgets and schedules
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional engineering license or equivalent certification
• Arabic language skills
• Experience working within a 3D design environment and BIM protocols
• Knowledge of retail, commercial, and/or industrial sector practices
