About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan Master Production Schedule and execute production orders to meet sales demand
- Place and manage purchase orders to vendors and contract manufacturers via MRP
- Manage inventories of materials and supplies to meet production goals
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers, suppliers and internal teams on delivery and quality
- Monitor inventory turns and drive continuous improvement in planning and procurement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years directly related experience
- Advanced knowledge of procurement and planning principles
- Strong applied math and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Understanding of FDA and GMP requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in chemicals, packaging, inventory planning or contract manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
