Staff Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to transform data into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions.
• Design and analyze experiments, pilots, and performance evaluations to separate signal from noise.
• Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to provide visibility into operational performance and organizational health.
• Analyze data across multiple sources to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Use segmentation and cohort analysis to understand customer behaviors and operational processes.
• Improve data quality and instrumentation by identifying gaps in existing data collection.

Requirements

• Strong analytical fundamentals with a track record of solving complex business problems.
• High proficiency in SQL for working with large, complex datasets.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience navigating ambiguous problems and starting with high-level business questions rather than predefined reports.
• Experience with modern analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau, Looker, Snowflake, or similar).
