Team Leader - Architecture

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of complex architectural design solutions from concept through to implementation
• Establish and champion the design vision for major projects, maintaining quality, innovation and technical rigour
• Work closely with clients and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver exceptional outcomes
• Lead design reviews, feasibility studies and design validation activities
• Provide specialist advice on architectural design, construction practices, regulations and industry standards
• Support multidisciplinary teams, including BIM, technical and engineering specialists
• Contribute to winning work through technical input into proposals, tenders and client presentations
• Mentor and develop team members, sharing knowledge and fostering design excellence and continuous improvement
• Apply emerging technologies and industry best practice to strengthen project outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or an equivalent discipline
• Minimum 10 years' professional experience in architectural design
• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and managing design delivery
• Strong design, technical and problem-solving capability
• Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary project teams
• Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills
• Clear and compelling communication and presentation skills
• Experience using industry-standard design and BIM tools
• Experience supervising people and resources to deliver agreed outcomes
