About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage FDOT Driveway Connection Permit applications and technical documentation
- Develop Traffic Impact Statements (TIS) for Florida cities and counties
- Conduct operational analyses and traffic modeling using Synchro/SimTraffic
- Perform traffic signal design, including plans and timing sheets
- Prepare technical reports, design documents, and supporting calculations
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and permitting agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Florida PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 3+ years of experience in traffic or transportation engineering
- Valid drivers license and clean driving history
- Proficiency in Synchro/SimTraffic
- Experience with FDOT driveway connection permitting and traffic signal design
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in HCS
- Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD
