VP, Strategic Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Own the supplier base end to end including selection, consolidation, and tiering strategy
• Lead negotiations on package price, MOQs, lead times, rebates, and payment terms
• Drive improvements on gross margin percentage and landed COGS
• Manage assortment and category strategy in collaboration with revenue teams
• Run Odeko's private label from category selection through supplier development
• Build and lead the new category manager organization

Requirements

• 10+ years in sourcing, procurement, or merchandising
• 5+ years of leadership experience in distribution, foodservice, or CPG
• Proven track record managing annual spend exceeding $250MM
• Experience leading negotiations on individual contracts valued at $10M+ annually
• Experience managing commodity-exposed category books
• Experience with category management and assortment decisions
• Experience deploying AI or advanced-analytics solutions for sourcing
• Strong executive presence and ability to partner with cross-functional leaders
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, or economics (MBA preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• M&A experience involving supplier and vendor relationship integration
• Experience with private label/own-brand development
• Experience with perishables and short-shelf-life categories
• Experience in high-growth companies
