Water Resources Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic and hydrology (H&H) analyses and design for transportation projects
• Prepare drainage reports in conformance with client and industry standards
• Assist with plan production related to drainage design, stormwater management, detention facilities, water quality/MS4, quantities, and specifications
• Contribute to project goals and milestones, and monitor project progress
• Assist in the preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, studies, reports, construction drawings/plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Ensure the development of high-quality engineering documents
• Adhere to all internal procedures for quality control, documentation, and project tracking
• Assist with project pursuits

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 12-16 years of transportation drainage experience
• PE License preferred
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (rational method and TR-55)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads
• Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8, EPA SWMM, or similar modeling software
• Knowledge of state, regional, and special district design standards
• Experience developing stormwater management plans and MS4 designs
