Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own the full P&L and strategic performance of Careem Box in UAE and Jordan, leading growth, commercial, marketing, and operational functions.
  • Define and execute high-impact market strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Lead commercial and strategic partnerships, unlocking new demand channels and enhancing value propositions.
  • Drive operational excellence at scale, optimizing key metrics such as delivery speed, reliability, and cost-to-serve.
  • Influence cross-functional priorities by collaborating with Product, Data, Finance, Legal, and Care teams.
  • Leverage data and insights to monitor performance, identify key trends, and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Represent Careem externally, building relationships with regulators, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of core business drivers
  • P&L management experience (a plus)
  • Proven track record in managing and scaling complex businesses across multiple markets
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a bias for action
