Responsibilities
The Marketing Services CEMEA Director will:
- Lead a central hub team to collaborate with sub-regional marketing services teams and increase VIK marketing revenue.
- Oversee ecosystem partnerships, improve operations and workflows, upskill internal and external teams.
- Develop and implement bespoke marketing programs for key partners.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a consultative framework for pipeline tracking across CEMEA.
- Standardize workflows throughout the sales journey.
- Build custom programs aligned with sub-regional priorities.
- Drive thought leadership through published content and industry event participation.
Team Development & Management:
- Build and retain a high-performing marketing team with diverse expertise.
- Foster collaboration focused on service excellence.
- Upskill internal/external teams with latest marketing strategies and tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
- Partner with VCA, sales, product, and analytics teams for an integrated approach.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices across sub-regions.
- Extract and deliver added value from ecosystem partnerships to clients.
Capability Building & Operational Excellence:
- Develop sales collateral and playbooks to scale successful approaches.
- Create reporting systems for pipeline tracking and conversion rates.
- Co-design measurement frameworks to demonstrate ROI on marketing investments.
- Identify process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
This is a hybrid role; expectation of days in office will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager.
Requirements
- 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 6+ years with a PhD.
- Proven strategic vision and commercial acumen.
- Exceptional negotiation and partnership skills.
- Strong data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
- Experience in marketing strategy, brand management, and campaign execution.
- P&L management and financial acumen.
- Proven digital marketing expertise.
- Client management and agency experience.
- High energy, self-starter, proactive approach.
- Commitment to inclusive and multicultural environments.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading CEMEA or similar regional marketing teams in payments/technology.
- Demonstrated ability to scale marketing enablement initiatives across large regions.
- Thought leadership through publishing in relevant journals or speaking at industry events.
