Job Description

Responsibilities

Solution Design and Development:

  • Work closely with IT and development teams to design digital solutions tailored to the insurance and broking industry.
  • Define system solution specifications and create wireframes or prototypes as needed.
  • Ensure solutions comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Develop business processes on a No Code platform for projects and functionalities.
  • Develop business processes using Java, including batches, collections, and design patterns.
  • Utilize MongoDB technology.
  • Apply Python technology for data analytics.

Enterprise Architecture:

  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to integrate digital solutions using IServer tool.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and standards.
  • Update all assets, business processes, and architecture diagrams for every initiative and maintain IServer documentation.

API Development and Integration:

  • Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs according to best practices.
  • Develop and implement integration solutions between systems, applications, and databases.
  • Maintain and optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop API documentation and provide support for API consumers.
  • Monitor and test integrations for data accuracy and transfer success.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services into existing systems.
  • Handle API authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Write unit and integration tests.
  • Work with frontend and backend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
  • Continuously monitor and improve API performance and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering
  • Skilled in Java, Python, MongoDB, and SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of insurance and broking processes and regulations
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architectures
