Financial Controller

Description

Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations.
• Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategy.
• Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on financial performance, including variance analysis and recommendations for improvements.
• Cost Control: Implementing cost control measures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Audit Management: Coordinating internal and external audits and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize financial operations.

Requirements:

• Experienced: At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial management or a related field.
• Qualified: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Analytical: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
• Proactive: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent Communicator: Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, Xero, Quickbooks, etc.
• Culturally Adaptable: Able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
