Job description
Responsibilities
- Attend career job fairs, recruiting open houses, and community events to proactively attract the best candidates.
- Review recruitment policies to ensure effective selection techniques and recruitment programs.
- Establish operational hiring metrics to measure hiring process efficiency and outcomes.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with laws affecting recruitment and screening functions such as national preference, background checks, and document collection.
- Facilitate interview scheduling, candidate travel logistics, interview assessments, recruitment reimbursements, and respond to payment inquiries.
- Request references and check applicants’ suitability before submitting details to departments.
- Conduct research, studies, and draft/compile reports with findings and recommendations.
- Create sourcing plans from different channels: internal/external databases, referrals, and coordinate with employees to finalize interview panels.
- Assist in developing effective recruiting strategies.
- Develop and conduct training sessions on recruiting practices for departments.
- Design and implement robust recruiting procedures.
- Motivate and provide direction to the recruitment team through feedback regarding expectations, roles, responsibilities, achievements, and opportunities.
- Supervise the Recruiting Services team of recruiters dedicated to providing service to all departments.
- Handle assigned recruitment activities including posting vacancies, resourcing, shortlisting, assessing candidates, and preparing offer letters.
- Perform additional responsibilities as advised by the Line Manager or Head of Department.
