Senior Product Manager - Pricing

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize dynamic pricing models that shape customer behavior and drive growth for Careem’s delivery platform
• Define the long-term pricing strategy for customers and captains across multiple verticals (Food, Grocery, Shops, Box, Express)
• Align pricing with captain earnings and customer affordability, ensuring retention and loyalty
• Build and prioritize product features for customer pricing, payouts, and commissions
• Partner with data science and analytics to design and deploy dynamic pricing algorithms
• Conduct A/B testing, simulations, and competitive research to validate pricing strategies
• Lead cross-functional pricing alignment with Finance, Operations, Analytics, and business leads
• Represent customer and captain perspectives in pricing decisions
• Build governance processes to manage pricing changes at scale
• Monitor pricing performance, conduct behavioral analysis, and optimize based on data
• Liaise with commercial/ops teams to implement and measure pricing impacts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related quantitative field (MBA is a plus)
• 7–10 years’ experience in product management (preferably in tech, logistics, e-commerce, or mobility)
• Strong knowledge of marketplace dynamics and pricing/supply-demand models
• Experience working on ML-based pricing or personalization models
• Proficiency in A/B testing, simulation, and rapid experimentation
• Analytical skills and experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity/fast pace
