Vendor Manager (Buyer)

Responsibilities

• Support the Vendor Management lead in selecting a great range of products and set pricing.
• Develop and manage relationships with grocery suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors.
• Ensure effective promotional campaigns.
• Analyze vendor performance and improve service.
• Manage vendor compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Source new products and maintain inventory.
• Resolve vendor issues and disputes.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Optimize vendor management processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in vendor management or buying.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Experience in product selection and pricing.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate vendor performance.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and results-driven approach.
• Knowledge of Excel/Gsheets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in international FMCG sourcing.
• Knowledge of BI and data analytics tools.
