Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial success of grocery and supermarket partners across the UAE
  • Develop and lead long-lasting relationships with high-profile grocery chains and retail partners
  • Drive business growth by improving catalog depth, pricing competitiveness, and availability
  • Onboard new high-value grocery and supermarket brands to the Careem platform
  • Analyze account performance data including GTV, order frequency, and SKU-level availability to drive data-backed decisions
  • Conduct periodic partner performance business reviews to plan commercial and operational improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align with business strategy
  • Partner with grocery clients to implement advertising and in-app promotions to increase order volume

Requirements

  • Previous experience in enterprise account management or commercial roles
  • Background in Grocery, FMCG, retail, or e-commerce sectors
  • Proven ability to establish and lead relationships with high-profile retail partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high adaptability to change
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to understand complex commercial opportunities, including margin structures and promotional mechanics
  • Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and time management
