Job description

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input customer data from applications to set up new accounts
  • Manage basic financial operations including redemptions, purchases, exchanges, and account rebalancing
  • Execute retirement plan account transactions in compliance with IRS standards
  • Initiate incoming transfers by dispatching required documents to custodians and tracking status until completion
  • Oversee shareholder account updates and manage returned mail
  • Coordinate with broker-dealers or clients to gather missing account information and seek clarifications
  • Prepare and reconcile check deposits accurately

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in client services or a related field
  • Background in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of retirement products (including IRAs) and mutual funds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 6 license is an asset
