Job description
Responsibilities
- Accurately input customer data from applications to set up new accounts
- Manage basic financial operations including redemptions, purchases, exchanges, and account rebalancing
- Execute retirement plan account transactions in compliance with IRS standards
- Initiate incoming transfers by dispatching required documents to custodians and tracking status until completion
- Oversee shareholder account updates and manage returned mail
- Coordinate with broker-dealers or clients to gather missing account information and seek clarifications
- Prepare and reconcile check deposits accurately
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in client services or a related field
- Background in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of retirement products (including IRAs) and mutual funds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications
- Series 6 license is an asset
