Job description
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, payment processing, and vendor management
- Stabilize and streamline current AP processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls
- Manage and reduce existing backlogs while implementing sustainable process improvements
- Develop, refine, and maintain clear SOPs and process documentation, including video-based guides
- Support knowledge transfer and onboarding for offshore or distributed AP teams
- Partner with the Controller and Finance team to support month-end close and reporting requirements
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and system enhancements
Requirements
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable leadership or management roles
- Background in consumer, retail, or eCommerce industries
- Strong experience working with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite
- Demonstrated ability to drive structure and improvements in complex or disorganized environments
- Experience supporting process transitions, offshoring, or scaling finance operations
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
