Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, payment processing, and vendor management
  • Stabilize and streamline current AP processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls
  • Manage and reduce existing backlogs while implementing sustainable process improvements
  • Develop, refine, and maintain clear SOPs and process documentation, including video-based guides
  • Support knowledge transfer and onboarding for offshore or distributed AP teams
  • Partner with the Controller and Finance team to support month-end close and reporting requirements
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and system enhancements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable leadership or management roles
  • Background in consumer, retail, or eCommerce industries
  • Strong experience working with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite
  • Demonstrated ability to drive structure and improvements in complex or disorganized environments
  • Experience supporting process transitions, offshoring, or scaling finance operations
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
