Accounts Receivable Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships by monitoring payments and identifying business building opportunities
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to ensure timely payments and negotiate terms
• Handle and diffuse stressful or tense situations with empathy and professionalism
• Provide timely approval of orders for assigned accounts
• Manage customers within credit limit guidelines and facilitate credit line increases
• Maintain accurate customer information and interaction notes in company systems

Requirements

• 1-3 years of collection or customer service experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven de-escalation and negotiation skills
• High level of competency with PC and software applications
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting customers over the phone
• Experience in collection and account management
