Affordable Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee affordable housing compliance across an assigned portfolio to ensure adherence to federal, state, and agency regulations
• Serve as a subject matter expert providing guidance on regulatory requirements and mentoring team members
• Ensure quarterly and annual reporting is completed accurately and submitted within deadlines
• Prepare pre-onsite documentation for agency file audits and support corrective action responses
• Communicate effectively with Compliance staff, Regional Management, syndicators, and clients
• Develop action plans for non-compliant properties in collaboration with the Vice President of Compliance
• Identify training opportunities and share best practices with the Compliance team

Requirements

• Significant experience in affordable housing compliance or property management
• Thorough knowledge of affordable housing programs, regulations, and agency requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and lead others
• Ability to travel occasionally to properties, client meetings, and training events
