Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Review Affordable Housing resident files for eligibility and compliance with all required laws
• Ensure file reviews are completed within 24 hours of receipt
• Monitor changes in LIHTC regulations and implement necessary modifications
• Participate in all tax credit reviews conducted by outside entities
• Attend annual TDHCA trainings
• Travel approximately 50% of the time for property visits, conferences, or training

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented approach
• Proficiency with RealPage Onesite Tax Credit software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain HCCP designation within the first two years of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) certification
• Knowledge of HUD programs
