AI Data Labeler

Responsibilities

• Label images and video frames using bounding boxes, polygons, segmentation masks, and SKU-level classifications
• Annotate complex edge cases including occlusion, overlapping items, glare, and motion blur
• Compare model predictions to ground-truth labels and document specific failure modes
• Audit annotations from peers and contractors to ensure high inter-annotator agreement
• Identify hardware-related capture issues such as poor lighting, color shifts, or camera misalignment
• Maintain and refine internal labeling guidelines as new products and edge cases emerge
• Collaborate cross-functionally with ML, hardware, and software engineers to validate fixes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in computer vision data labeling (robotics, autonomous vehicles, or medical imaging)
• Proficiency with annotation tools such as CVAT, Labelbox, SuperAnnotate, or Scale
• Exceptional attention to detail and high tolerance for precision-oriented work
• Strong written communication skills for structured QA reporting
• Ability to reason about visual edge cases and document ambiguous scenarios

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ML evaluation concepts like precision, recall, IoU, and confusion matrices
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, QA processes, or lab environments
• Background in roles requiring meticulous inspection, such as manufacturing or lab work
