Job description

Responsibilities

  • Study incident reports implicating LLMs or NLP algorithms and hypothesize root causes
  • Conduct literature and open-source reviews in NLP or LLM
  • Design, plan, and create NLP or LLM assessments to expand digital safety best practices
  • Code or train text analytics needed to run NLP or LLM assessments
  • Prepare written component documentation for technical audiences
  • Publish assessment research results in peer-reviewed conferences and journals
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to scale assessments

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in computer science or a related field with a focus on NLP or LLMs
  • 3 years of relevant experience post-Ph.D.
  • Mastery level knowledge of NLP and LLM safety
  • Ability to solve AI assessment research challenges independently
