AIops Engineer

About the Company

The Automation team is Loft's intelligent efficiency engine. Our mission is to design and operate the ecosystem that sustains the company's financial heart, applying AIOps to transform complex Accounts Payable and Receivable flows into autonomous, predictive, and highly reliable processes.

Responsibilities

• Architect Intelligent Operations (AIOps) by implementing AI solutions for financial flow health monitoring, anomaly detection, and intelligent data reconciliation.
• Accelerate development using AI-driven tools (Lovable, Bolt, n8n, Cursor) to build interfaces and flows for business teams.
• Develop Agents and LLMs by integrating models like OpenAI and Anthropic to automate data extraction from invoices, contracts, and financial communications.
• Build robust integration engineering through Python APIs and pipelines connecting internal systems to Oracle NetSuite.
• Lead Spec Driven Development (SDD) to ensure automations are documented, testable, and compliant.
• Provide technical mentorship on code best practices and efficient AI usage.

Requirements

• Solid mastery of Python for system construction and API integrations.
• Expertise in modern No-Code/Low-Code ecosystems including n8n and Zapier.
• Proficiency with AI prototyping tools like Lovable or Bolt.
• AIOps mindset focused on reliability and observability.
• Strong engineering culture knowledge (CI/CD, Git, automated testing, AWS).
• Strong logical and analytical reasoning.
• Effective communication skills to bridge technical and finance/product stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial data, process modeling, and workflow automation.
• Previous technical leadership in complex automation projects.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), or financial data classification models.
• Financial background involving ERPs (NetSuite), cash flow, taxes, or auditing.
• Advanced SQL and modeling expertise (Star Schema, Snowflake) with BigQuery and visualization tools like Looker or Superset.
