Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships by identifying needs, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead and execute research, evaluation, and advisory projects
  • Develop research and evaluation solutions following industry best practices
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver work meeting client expectations
  • Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
  • Communicate complex technical content and findings to diverse audiences
  • Conduct quality-control reviews of analyses, reports, and presentations
  • Design and lead qualitative research projects including interviews and focus groups
  • Design and lead quantitative research projects including surveys and statistical analysis
  • Supervise and mentor junior consulting staff

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years designing and implementing energy research and evaluation projects
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
  • Experience with survey design, statistical methods, and data analysis
  • Proven ability to lead research studies from design through delivery
  • Strong project management skills (scope, schedule, budget)
  • Experience in utilities, energy, consulting, or research fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience presenting at industry conferences or contributing to thought leadership
  • Knowledge of energy policy, regulatory frameworks, or program environments
  • Experience supporting business development and proposal development
